I’m a designer passionate about highlighting stories, preserving moments, and uncovering connections through branding, typography, illustration, and form.
I believe design begins with curiosity, a return to imagination and freedom that fuels growth and creativity. Through intentional investigation, play, and exploration, I approach design as a multidimensional practice that resists confinement. Whether working in branding, typography, illustration, or physical form, I strive to create from a place of abundance and authenticity, choosing growth over perfection and trusting the process to uncover deeper meaning within each piece.
I see design as a living dialogue between creator, audience, and environment, a means of connection that shapes how people feel, remember, and engage with the world around them. I aim to cultivate work that invites imagination, vulnerability, and reflection, crafting experiences that leave meaningful impressions. Grounded in my faith and guided by intention and gratitude, I approach each project believing that thoughtful design has the power to tell stories, preserve moments, and create lasting impact.
Looking back, what advice would you give yourself?
You are already equipped with the skills you need, and you will learn the rest along the way. Don’t get caught up in comparing yourself to others; your strengths and weaknesses are uniquely yours, and that is exactly how they’re meant to be.
What's your favorite A+D memory?
Studying art history in the classroom was meaningful, but nothing compares to seeing those same works in person during my study abroad trip to Italy. Standing in front of pieces I had only ever seen on a screen made the history feel real and unforgettable.
What was your favorite A+D class?
Branding was a pivotal class for me; it taught me how design shapes every aspect of a place and influences how people experience it. I was given the opportunity to translate a feeling into a physical design, capturing what it truly felt like to be immersed in a specific environment.
What moment, project, and/or critique in your Art + Design career at AU has been pivotal to who you are as an artist or creator?
My final project in Typography 1 was especially impactful for my self-confidence and deepened my love for typography and design. It helped me realize how powerful thoughtful design can be, and showed me that typography isn’t just decorative; it shapes how people experience and remember everyday objects.
What's next for you?
I want to continue creating from a place of abundance, no matter what I’m working on. While I don’t yet know where I’ll be in the future, I hope to be part of a team that thrives on collaboration and values storytelling through design.
How do you hope your work makes an impact?
I hope my work inspires curiosity, imagination, joy, and wonder, allowing others to experience design that is intentional, multidimensional, and meaningful. Through my designs, I aim to uncover stories, foster connection, and create moments that are felt, remembered, and valued.
